She is Antonela Roccuzzo, the most illustrious player in Inter Miami history and the wife of Lionel Messi, the soccer hero.
The Argentinian power couple arrived in Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday with their three young sons, and we can expect to see a lot more of this endearing family both on and off the field.
With 36.1 million Instagram followers, Roccuzzo, a 35-year-old model, is a recognized personality in her own right. The brunette beauty says in her bio that she doesn’t have Twitter, so don’t look for her anywhere on social media. I don’t have Facebook.
As a brand ambassador for Alo yoga clothing, CASETiFY phone cases, and Guerlain, Roccuzzo, who describes herself as a “digital creator,” is promoting the company’s new haircare range.
In a new promotional video, the mother of three discusses her pregnancy-related hair loss, particularly in the front section by the forehead, with renowned South African hairdresser Peter Gray. Many of her followers in the comments section were unaware that she could speak English because her husband is infamously not able to. Now that we know who will be placing the order when the team goes out for frappuccinos at Starbucks, we can prepare.
Other Instagram posts on Roccuzzo’s timeline highlight the many males in her life, including her husband of two years and their three sons Thiago, Mateo, and Ciro. To commemorate Messi’s 36th year on earth, they all posed together at a table last month, holding a cake with strawberries and gold balloons on top.
“Amor, happy birthday. “We adore you to infinity,” the caption declared.
Say it was fate. The couple first connected in Argentina as youngsters through Roccuzzo’s cousin, the midfielder-turned-coach Lucas Scaglia, who was a boyhood friend of the couple.
The path to romance was not entirely clear-cut. Messi moved away from home when he was 13 to train in Spain, and the two are believed to have rejoined after a tragic event a few years later. The baller flew back to comfort Roccuzzo after her close friend passed away in a vehicle accident in 2005, and they made their romance public four years later.
Messi frequently shares pictures of his wife and children on social media. The five-person family was seated by a pool that was surrounded by palm trees just last week. Before the soccer legend left for his new chapter in South Florida, they were supposedly on holiday someplace in the Caribbean.
He wrote, “Siempre asi,” to his 478 million+ fans.
