Georgina Rodriguez, the partner of Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, has shared her experience of getting lost inside his £5m Madrid mansion. In her Netflix documentary, “I Am Georgina,” she revealed that it took her six months to navigate the sprawling house, which featured custom-made oversized furniture and a bed.
Coming from a background of small apartments, Georgina found the size of the mansion overwhelming at first. She recalled how she would get lost trying to find her way to the kitchen or living room, and it would take her half an hour to get around the house. However, over time, she got used to the massive space and made it her home.
The documentary also offered a glimpse into the couple’s luxurious lifestyle, including their remodeled home in Madrid. Georgina worked with an interior designer to choose bespoke furniture that would suit their family’s needs, paying attention to the color of each element.
Despite their extravagant lifestyle, Georgina says that their family is just like any other and that they prioritize their children’s well-being above all else. She and Ronaldo have been together for over five years, and he has expressed his intention to marry her soon.
Ronaldo is currently having a new mansion built on the Portuguese Riviera, which he plans to use as a family home. However, his property empire already includes two luxury apartments in Lisbon and a seven-story apartment block in Funchal, Madeira, where his mother and brother live.
Georgina’s story highlights the challenges that come with adapting to a new environment, especially one as grand as Ronaldo’s mansion. However, her determination to make it her home and her focus on family serves as an inspiration to many.
